[05-22-2025] Two Workers Injured After Mobile Home Collapses in Santa RosaTwo workers sustained injuries, including one in critical condition, after being trapped beneath a collapsed mobile home in Santa Rosa on Thursday afternoon, May 22, 2025.

According to the Santa Rosa Fire Department, fire crews were dispatched at approximately 1:52 p.m. to the Santa Rosa Village mobile home park on Larkspur Place following reports of a structural collapse. 

Officials said a modular home being positioned on a vacant lot slipped off its jacks and collapsed, pinning two workers underneath.

Emergency responders were able to quickly extricate both individuals and administer life-saving medical aid at the scene. One worker was reported to have moderate injuries, while the other suffered critical injuries. 

Both were transported to a nearby hospital, though their current conditions remain unknown.

Cal/OSHA and the California Department of Housing and Community Development are conducting a joint investigation into the incident to determine what caused the collapse.
