[05-21-2026] San Bernardino County, CA – At Least One Injured in Six-Vehicle Crash on I-15 in Hesperia

A six-vehicle crash caused traffic delays and lane closures on Interstate 15 in Hesperia late Thursday night, May 21, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision was reported around 11:27 p.m. in the northbound lanes of Interstate 15 near the Highway 395 exit.

Authorities stated that the crash involved a gray Dodge Challenger, a Volkswagen Jetta, a Kia K5, a Dodge Charger, and two additional vehicles.

One person sustained minor injuries in the collision. Multiple tow trucks responded to remove the damaged vehicles from the freeway.

Officials later closed the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes for the investigation and cleanup, while the No. 3 and No. 4 lanes were reopened to motorists. A SigAlert was issued for approximately one hour.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the collision.
