[05-20-2024] At Least One Person Seriously Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Rollover Crash in TurlockAt least one person was seriously injured following a multi-vehicle rollover crash in Turlock early Monday morning, May 20, 2024.

According to the Turlock Police Department, the traffic incident occurred at about 4:04 a.m. at the intersection of Angelus Street and South Orange Street.

Upon arrival, authorities found several vehicles involved parked along the roadway, except one that was resting on its roof after rolling over. It is believed that the rolled-over car was the one responsible for the multi-vehicle collision. 

The flipped car had at least two people inside at the time of the accident, one of whom suffered severe injuries, particularly on his hand. The injured person had most, if not all, of his fingers lost on one hand, according to police.

There is no word yet on whether the other person inside the flipped car was injured. No other injuries were reported currently.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Officers are currently looking at DUI as a possible factor.

Additional information was not immediately available. Police work is underway.
