A child and two adults sustained non-life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run crash in Oceanside on Saturday afternoon, May 17, 2025.
According to the Oceanside Police Department, the crash occurred around 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of South Coast Highway and Wisconsin Avenue. After hitting the three pedestrians, the driver fled the scene.
A bystander followed the fleeing vehicle, helping officers locate and arrest the suspect a short time later.
All three victims were treated for non-life-threatening injuries. The incident remains under investigation by Oceanside Police.
