A 60-year-old motorcyclist suffered major injuries following a collision in Ventura County on Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 3:18 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 north of Victoria Avenue.
Authorities stated that the Camarillo man was riding a black and red Harley-Davidson Dyna Super Glide southbound when he collided with the rear of a Subaru Outback.
The impact ejected the rider from the motorcycle. Good Samaritans reportedly provided emergency medical aid before first responders arrived at the scene.
The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Ventura County Medical Center for further treatment of major injuries.
Officials stated that drugs and alcohol are not currently suspected to have been factors in the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
