[05-16-2026] Butte County, CA – One Injured After Two Pickup Trucks Collide South of Gridley

One person was injured following a two-vehicle crash south of Gridley on Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the incident at around 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Township Road and West Evans Reimer Road.

Authorities stated that two pickup trucks collided after one driver reportedly failed to yield at the intersection. Emergency crews from the Oroville CHP Area Office, Butte County EMS, and CAL FIRE/Butte County responded to the scene.

One person sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital as a precaution.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
