A pedestrian was critically injured after being struck by a vehicle in Sacramento’s Northgate neighborhood on Friday morning, May 16, 2025.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. on Norwood Avenue between Las Palmas Avenue and Eleanor Avenue.
Emergency responders transported the pedestrian to a nearby hospital in critical condition. The driver involved remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the Sacramento Police Department.
