A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in the Harbor Gateway neighborhood of Los Angeles on Thursday evening, May 15, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded at approximately 9:45 p.m. to the intersection of West 228th Street and Normandie Avenue, where they located the pedestrian.
The individual, whose name, age, and gender have not yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The CHP is investigating the circumstances of the fatal collision.
