INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT?

[05-15-2025] Fresno County, CA – Two Killed, Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Westlawn Avenue and McKinley Avenue

[05-15-2025] Two Killed, Two Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash at Westlawn Avenue and McKinley AvenueTwo men were killed and two others sustained injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Fresno County on Thursday night, May 15, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. at the intersection of Westlawn Avenue and McKinley Avenue. 

A 22-year-old Fresno man was driving a Honda Civic northbound on Westlawn Avenue when he allegedly ran a stop sign at the intersection.

A 68-year-old woman driving a Chevrolet Silverado westbound on McKinley Avenue, where no stop sign is posted, collided with the right side of the Honda. The impact caused the Chevrolet to veer off the roadway and land in a grapevine.

The driver of the Honda Civic was transported to Community Regional Medical Center with major injuries and later died. A 20-year-old male passenger in the Honda was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Chevrolet sustained minor injuries and was taken to Clovis Community Medical Center. A 70-year-old passenger in the Chevrolet also suffered minor injuries and was transported for treatment.

CHP is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
