[05-14-2024] Three People Killed Following Multi-Vehicle Crash, Including Motorcycle, in La QuintaThree people were killed following a multi-vehicle crash, including a motorcycle, in La Quinta on Tuesday night, May 14, 2024.

According to the authorities, the fatal incident occurred at about 9:20 p.m. around the Highway 111 and Simon Drive intersection near Washington Street.

Upon arrival, authorities found multiple vehicles and a motorcycle with apparent collision damage. The total number of people involved was not disclosed, but reports indicate that three have perished, including a motorcycle rider. 

The rider is said to have been out on a group motorcycle ride when the accident occurred. Other members of the biker group remained at the scene.

The identities of the three people who died were not disclosed yet. 

Additional information was not immediately available, and the authorities are still gathering all the necessary details to determine the cause of the collision and the factors that may have led up to it.

The investigation into the deadly accident is in progress.
