Fatal injuries were reported after a two-vehicle collision near Winding Way in Central Malibu on Tuesday afternoon, May 14, 2024.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the collision happened around 1:30 p.m. near Winding Way and Paradise Cove Road.
Authorities stated that the AIR7 HD was able to capture a grey Honda Civic with significant damage to its front end and surrounded by debris. A white van crashed on the side of the road was also seen following the crash.
It is unknown what caused the collision. The extent of injuries and the number of involved parties were not immediately available.
The fatal collision resulted in the shutting down of both directions of PCH between Paradise Cove Road and Winding Way. Police implemented one-way traffic control on the road while investigating the crash.
Further information regarding the collision has yet to be released by the authorities. No other details were provided.
