[05-13-2026] Tulare County, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash in Visalia

One person was killed following a multi-vehicle crash in Visalia on Wednesday night, May 13, 2026.

According to the Visalia Police Department, officers responded around 7:56 p.m. to the intersection of Demaree Street and Houston Avenue.

Authorities reported that four vehicles were involved, and one of them caught fire following the crash.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and extinguished the flames, but the driver of the burning vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. The identity of the victim has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

The Visalia Police Department’s Traffic Unit has taken over the investigation to determine the circumstances leading up to the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
