Two adult female pedestrians were injured after being struck by a vehicle in Isla Vista, Santa Barbara County, on Tuesday evening, May 13, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the incident occurred shortly before 7:00 p.m. at the intersection of Camino Pescadero and Sabado Tarde.
A solo female driver reportedly hit the two women at the intersection. One pedestrian sustained major injuries, while the other suffered minor injuries.
Both victims were transported by ground ambulance to the Cottage Hospital Emergency Room for treatment.
Authorities stated that the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
