A motorcycle rider left the scene before authorities arrived following a collision with a school bus in the De Luz area of Riverside County on Tuesday afternoon, May 13, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m. at the intersection of Patton Oak Road and De Luz Road. The collision involved a single motorcycle and a school bus.
Responding units located the motorcycle at the scene but found that the rider had left prior to their arrival. The school bus was also reportedly no longer at the location.
No injuries were reported at the time of the incident. A towing service was requested to remove the motorcycle from the scene.
Authorities have not released additional details, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
