[05-10-2026] Orange County, CA – Bicyclist Killed in Crash With Vehicle in Santa Ana

A bicyclist was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Santa Ana on Sunday afternoon, May 10, 2026.

According to the Santa Ana Police Department, the collision occurred around 12:10 p.m. at Fairview and 12th streets.

Authorities reported that the bicyclist was riding across Fairview outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a southbound vehicle.

Orange County Fire Authority paramedics responded to the scene and pronounced the bicyclist dead. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.

Police said impairment does not appear to have been a factor in the incident.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
