One person was killed and three others, including two juveniles, were seriously injured in a head-on collision involving a hay squeeze, west of Escalon, on Wednesday afternoon, May 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 4:00 p.m. on Highway 120 near Sexton Road.
Authorities stated that a Toyota SUV, traveling westbound, veered into the opposite lane for unknown reasons and collided head-on with the hay squeeze.
The driver of the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene. Two juvenile passengers in the SUV suffered serious injuries and were transported for medical treatment. Authorities did not release their ages. The driver of the hay squeeze also sustained major injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
