Minor injuries were reported following a three-vehicle collision in San Francisco on Wednesday morning, May 7, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. on the ramp from North Highway 101 to East Interstate 80 near the South of Market neighborhood.
Authorities stated that the collision involved a van, an SUV, and a sedan. The impact blocked all three lanes on the transition ramp.
CHP Officer Mark Andrews stated that the collision was caused by one of the drivers making an unsafe turning movement. Authorities confirmed that neither alcohol nor drugs played a role in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation.
