[05-07-2024] At Least One Person Injured Following Multi-Vehicle Crash Along El Centro RoadAt least one person was injured following a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento on Tuesday evening, May 7, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 6:30 p.m. at the intersection of El Centro Road and West Camino Avenue. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved multiple vehicles, resulting in injuries. At least one person was injured and transported to the hospital. The identity of the victim, as well as the extent of their injuries, remain unknown. 

Police said that one of the vehicles overturned, blocking all traffic lanes. At least one vehicle was also found in a ditch. Following the crash, traffic delays were experienced by the motorists near the intersection.

No further information was released, and the authorities are gathering all necessary details to identify the involved parties and determine the cause of the incident.
