One person was possibly injured following a three-vehicle collision in Chico on Tuesday morning, May 7, 2024.
According to the Chico Police Department, the crash happened at around 8:15 a.m. on Forest Avenue and East 20th Street.
CPD said that the incident was a chain-reaction crash involving a gray Volkswagen, a BMW, and a Tesla. It is believed that the Volkswagen rear-ended the BMW, which then collided with the back of the Tesla.
The driver of the Volkswagen was examined for possible injuries. There is no word yet if there were other injuries as a result of the vehicular accident.
The southbound traffic on Forest Avenue experienced delays as the authorities helped the people involved.
Additional information was not immediately available. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
