Two people were killed following a multi-vehicle crash involving tractor-trailers in Ludlow, San Bernardino County, on Wednesday morning, May 6, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on eastbound Interstate 40 east of Crucero Road.
Authorities reported that a woman driving a tractor-trailer with a male passenger failed to yield to stopped traffic ahead, resulting in a crash involving three tractor-trailer combination vehicles.
Both the driver and passenger of the tractor-trailer were pronounced dead at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.
Officials stated that no additional injuries were reported in the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
