[05-06-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pregnant Woman Critically Injured in Hit-and-Run Crash in Koreatown

A pregnant woman sustained critical injuries following a hit-and-run crash in the Koreatown area of Los Angeles on Wednesday night, May 6, 2026.

According to police, the incident occurred shortly before 9 p.m. near Olympic Boulevard and St. Andrews Place.

Authorities reported that the woman, who was nine months pregnant, was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk with at least one other person when they were struck by a vehicle.

The woman suffered a brain bleed and was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Additional information regarding the condition of the other pedestrian was not immediately available.
