One person was hospitalized following a rollover crash involving two vehicles in Palm Springs on Monday evening, May 5, 2025.
According to the Palm Springs Police Department, the crash was reported at approximately 7:00 p.m. at Baristo Road and Sunrise Way.
Authorities said a Nissan sedan was traveling at a high rate of speed when it struck the rear side of another vehicle stopped at a red light. The impact caused the Nissan to become airborne and land on its roof.
Police confirmed that the driver of the Nissan sustained moderate injuries and was transported to a hospital for treatment. The other driver involved did not report any injuries.
Authorities stated that drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been factors in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
