A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in Los Angeles late Sunday night, May 4, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 11:39 p.m. on the eastbound Santa Monica Freeway at the Arlington Avenue on-ramp.
A witness reported that a white sedan struck the pedestrian.
Following the crash, Caltrans closed three lanes of the freeway and diverted traffic off at Arlington Avenue.
The name, age, and gender of the pedestrian have not been released. The incident remains under investigation.
