At least one person was injured after a multi-vehicle collision in Sacramento on Friday night, May 3, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic crash happened at about 10:15 p.m. along northbound Interstate 5, south of Highway 50.
The total number of people and vehicles involved was not disclosed. CHP confirmed that at least one person was injured, but the extent of the injury sustained remains unknown.
The authorities are still gathering all the necessary evidence to determine the cause of the crash and the factors that may have led up to it.
