Several people were hospitalized following a crash involving a big rig and a minivan in Placer County on Friday morning, May 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported around 9:00 a.m. at Sheridan Lincoln Boulevard and West Wise Road.
Photos shared by authorities showed major damage to the front and rear sides of the minivan, along with visible damage to the big rig.
CHP reported that two girls and a woman were transported to a hospital by ambulance, while a man and a boy were taken by private vehicle. The extent of their injuries remains unknown.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
