A student suffered minor injuries after a school bus collided with a pole at Nile Drive and Treadwell Boulevard in Salton City, Imperial County, on Friday evening, May 2, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 6:00 p.m. when the school bus struck a pole at the intersection. The impact caused a student to fall from her seat, resulting in a minor arm injury.
Authorities stated that the student sustained slight injuries and was treated accordingly. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
The collision remains under investigation.
