[05-02-2024] At Least One Person Killed Following Fiery Two-Vehicle Collision on Glenn Anderson FreewayAt least one person was killed following a fiery two-vehicle collision on Glenn Anderson freeway, Los Angeles County, on Thursday evening, May 2, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:44 p.m. at the Vermont Avenue exit of the westbound Glenn Anderson freeway. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved a sedan and a Honda Prius. Upon their arrival, they found the sedan on the right shoulder of the freeway and the Honda on fire in the HOV lane. 

Police said that one person was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity was not immediately disclosed. 

Anyone with information is highly encouraged to contact the authorities. All lanes of the westbound portion of the freeway near the accident scene were temporarily closed due to investigation. 

No further information was released, and the authorities are gathering all necessary information to determine the cause of the accident.
