[05-01-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Two Vehicles in Lancaster

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by two vehicles in Lancaster on Friday night, May 1, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the incident was reported at around 8:45 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue J and Date Avenue.

Authorities stated that a woman driving a white pickup truck first struck the pedestrian while she was outside a marked crosswalk. 

About one minute later, a man driving a silver sedan westbound on Avenue J in the No. 2 lane struck the pedestrian again while she was on the ground.

The pedestrian sustained significant injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
