INJURED IN AN ACCIDENT?

[04-29-2025] Two Injured in Hit-And-Run Crash at Sequoia Street and Apatite Avenue in HesperiaTwo people were injured following a hit-and-run crash at the intersection of Sequoia Street and Apatite Avenue in Hesperia on Tuesday evening, April 29, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, the collision occurred around 7:15 p.m. and involved two vehicles. 

One of the vehicles, an Audi, was reportedly speeding through a stop sign and collided with a gray Toyota Camry. The driver of the Audi fled the scene on foot along with another unidentified individual.

Deputies responded to the crash, and the injured driver of the Camry was transported to a local hospital for treatment. The victim later reported suffering a collapsed lung and remains hospitalized.

Photos from the scene showed significant damage to both vehicles. A bystander captured an image of a man in a black hoodie fleeing, believed to be the suspected driver. Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and the suspects remain outstanding.

Anyone with information regarding the crash is urged to contact the Hesperia Sheriff’s Station at (760) 947-1500. 

The investigation remains ongoing.
