A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motorcycle in Lancaster on Tuesday night, April 29, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at approximately 10:47 p.m. north of Avenue L-12.
Authorities stated that the pedestrian was crossing 10th Street from east to west outside of a marked crosswalk when he was struck by a Yamaha motorcycle traveling in the No. 2 northbound lane.
The pedestrian suffered major trauma and was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department personnel.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
