A man in his 20s died after being crushed in an accident at a trucking repair yard in Fresno County on Tuesday afternoon, April 28, 2026.
According to authorities, the incident occurred shortly after 4 p.m. near the intersection of Belmont and Lafayette avenues.
The man, working as a mechanic, was hooking up a trailer to a semi-truck when he became pinned between the two and was crushed.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cal-OSHA is investigating the incident.
