A 21-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman were hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash near the intersection of Newport Road and Lone Pine Drive in Menifee early Saturday morning, April 26, 2025.
According to the Menifee Police Department, the crash was reported at approximately 2:50 a.m. The man was driving a Ford Focus eastbound on Newport Road when the vehicle veered to the right and struck a wall near the intersection.
The man suffered major injuries and was listed in critical condition. The woman sustained moderate injuries and was reported to be in stable condition.
Investigators believe that alcohol was a factor in the crash.
