[04-23-2024] Solano County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Hit-And-Run Vehicle in Fairfield

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in Fairfield early Tuesday morning, April 23, 2024.

According to the Fairfield Police Department, the deadly collision happened at about 1:00 a.m. along Air Base Parkway near Wiley Lane.

FPD said that an officer discovered an unconscious person on the shoulder of Air Base Parkway with significant injuries that appeared to be a result of a car crash. There was no one else around when the victim was found, indicating a hit-and-run.

The identity of the deceased victim was not disclosed, and there is still no official description of the suspect vehicle. 

Anyone with information pertaining to the hit-and-run crash is urged to contact the police. Investigations are ongoing.
