[04-17-2024] Solano County, CA – Motorcyclist Seriously Injured Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Crash in Rio Vista

A motorcyclist was seriously injured following a motorcycle vs. vehicle crash in Rio Vista on Wednesday night, April 17, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic accident happened at about 7:56 p.m. around Highway 160 and Highway 12 near the Rio Vista Bridge.

Responders said that the motorcyclist sustained significant injuries following the crash and needed to be airlifted to the hospital for immediate medical care. There is no word yet about the condition of the driver of the vehicle involved.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation. It is unclear yet if alcohol or drugs were a factor in the incident.
