[04-15-2024] San Diego County, CA – 45-Year-Old Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Two Drivers in Oceanside

A 45-year-old pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Oceanside on Monday evening, April 15, 2024.

According to the Oceanside Police Department, the fatal incident occurred around 9:00 p.m. between Mission Avenue and Ocean Pointe.

A gold Nissan Murano traveling eastbound collided with a pedestrian crossing Mission Avenue about 100 yards west of Ocean Pointe. Another driver reportedly ran over the victim.

The unidentified pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, while both drivers stayed to cooperate with the police. 

The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the fatal collision.
