[04-13-2025] One Killed, Multiple Injured in Rollover Crash on 15 Freeway Near Halloran SpringsOne person was killed and several others were injured in a rollover crash on the northbound 15 Freeway near Halloran Springs in San Bernardino County, on Sunday morning, April 13, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 9:34 a.m., a white Ford Escape overturned and came to rest on its roof across the center lanes of traffic, approximately five miles north of the Halloran Springs exit.

Emergency crews responded to reports of an unresponsive baby and additional injured occupants. Initial information indicated that up to five people may have been inside the vehicle at the time of the crash.

San Bernardino County Fire reported two critically injured patients and requested two air ambulances to respond. At around 10:25 a.m., all northbound lanes were temporarily closed to allow for an air ambulance landing. One person was airlifted via Mercy Air 21 to the University Medical Center in Las Vegas.

By 10:45 a.m., CHP logs confirmed that the crash involved a fatality. The identity of the deceased has not been released.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
