[04-12-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed, Another Critically Injured in Wrong-Way Crash in Palmdale

One person was killed, and another was critically injured in a wrong-way crash in Palmdale on Sunday morning, April 12, 2026.

According to the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, the crash occurred around 4:47 a.m. at the intersection of Avenue T and 70th Street.

A male driver in a Ford F-150 Raptor was traveling eastbound on Avenue T when he veered into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a Honda Civic.

Deputies responded to the scene and extricated both drivers from their vehicles. Both men were transported to Antelope Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the Ford later died from his injuries, while the driver of the Honda remained in critical condition.

Authorities have not released the identities of the individuals involved. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
