Two individuals were injured following a three-vehicle crash on Wednesday morning, April 9, 2025, in Sacramento County, just north of Natomas.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 7:28 a.m. on the Highway 99 southbound lanes near the off-ramp for Elkhorn Boulevard. Emergency medical services responded promptly to the scene.
The Sacramento Fire Department confirmed that two people were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries was not immediately disclosed.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
