[04-08-2025] Alameda County, CA – Injuries Reported In Two-vehicle Collision On I-580 Near Hacienda Drive In Pleasanton

Injuries were reported following a two-vehicle collision on I-580 westbound near Hacienda Drive in Pleasanton on Tuesday afternoon, April 8, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, at around 12:01 p.m., a light blue Honda sedan collided with a commercial vehicle on the westbound side of the freeway just west of Hacienda Drive.

The Honda came to rest on the right-hand shoulder, and debris from the crash scattered across the roadway, leading to the blockage of lanes 5 and 6.

Moderate traffic delays were reported in both directions near the I-580/I-680 interchange as of 12:50 p.m. The extent of the injuries has not been confirmed.

The CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
