A pedestrian was struck and killed along Amargosa Road in Victorville on Monday evening, April 7, 2025.
At approximately 7:42 p.m., emergency personnel from American Medical Response (AMR), Medic Engine 315, and Medic Squad 315 with the Victorville Fire Department were dispatched to the intersection of Amargosa Road and Gabriel Road.
The pedestrian was pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash involved a silver 2021 Honda Civic sedan, which sustained major damage to the front passenger-side bumper, headlight, and windshield.
The vehicle came to a stop along the southbound shoulder of Amargosa Road, while the pedestrian’s body was located on the northbound right-hand shoulder nearby. A damaged Walmart shopping cart and one of the pedestrian’s shoes were also found close to the scene.
The driver of the Honda Civic remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
