[04-06-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Woman Killed in Crash in Pico Union

A woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Pico Union neighborhood in Los Angeles County early Monday, April 6, 2026.

Los Angeles Police Department officers responded at 12:46 a.m. to the 1300 block of West Washington Boulevard and Magnolia Place.

When officers arrived, they learned the driver of a sedan had struck several vehicles before crashing into a light pole.

Authorities said the woman, who was seated in the back of the sedan, suffered severe injuries in the incident. Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department transported her to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
