Multiple people were injured in a three-vehicle crash at the intersection of Harris and Stine Roads in Bakersfield on Sunday evening, April 6, 2025.
According to authorities, personnel from the Bakersfield police and fire departments were dispatched to the scene of a collision involving three vehicles.
One individual was found trapped inside a vehicle and had to be extricated by firefighters using the Jaws of Life. Other injured parties received medical attention at the scene.
Injuries were reported to range from moderate to severe. Several patients were transported to a nearby hospital by Hall Ambulance paramedics.
A DUI test was administered to one of the drivers at the scene. The Bakersfield Police Department is investigating the cause of the crash, and it has not been confirmed whether alcohol was a contributing factor.
