[04-02-2026] Sacramento County, CA – Pedestrian Suffers Serious Injuries After Being Struck By Vehicle on Ramona Ave.

A pedestrian suffered serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Sacramento late Thursday night, April 2, 2026.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded just before 10:15 p.m. to the 2900 block of Ramona Avenue. When officers arrived, they found the pedestrian with serious injuries.

Authorities said the victim was taken to a nearby hospital and was reported to be in stable condition.

The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Police also said impairment did not appear to be a factor in the crash.

The incident remains under investigation.
