[04-02-2024] Marin County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Vehicle Along Camino Margarita Near Nicasio

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle near Nicasio, Marin County, on Tuesday evening, April 2, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at about 7:20 p.m. along Camino Margarita near Los Pinos Road.

CHP said that the pedestrian was trapped under the vehicle after being hit by it. After a few minutes, authorities declared the victim dead at the scene. It is unclear if the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene or not.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation. Additional details are not immediately available.
