[04-02-2024] Los Angeles County, CA – One Person Killed Following Vehicle Vs. Semi-Truck Collision in Glendale

One person was killed following a vehicle vs. semi-truck collision in Glendale on Tuesday morning, April 2, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal crash happened at about 4:53 a.m. along the Ventura (134) Freeway near Glendale Avenue.

Initial reports indicate that a semi-truck collided with a white Honda Civic, killing the driver of the vehicle. No information was immediately available about the deceased’s name, age, or gender. The condition of the truck driver following the incident is also unclear.

The wreckage blocked the middle lanes of the freeway, forcing other cars to drive on the right shoulder to get past.

CHP is still investigating the cause of the accident.
