One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway in South Los Angeles early Sunday morning, March 29, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:00 a.m. on the eastbound freeway, just east of Crenshaw Boulevard.
The crash involved three vehicles and resulted in major debris across lanes one through four, leading to the closure of those lanes while lane five remained open.
No additional details about the individuals involved have been released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
