A pedestrian was fatally struck in a hit-and-run crash in Petaluma on Friday morning, March 28, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol Santa Rosa, officers responded just before 7:30 a.m. to Petaluma Boulevard North, near Corona Road, where they discovered a deceased male victim.
Authorities believe that the victim was walking along the east side of the road overnight when he was struck and killed. The driver fled the scene without stopping, and the victim’s body was not discovered until after sunrise when it became visible.
