[03-27-2024] 13-Year-Old Girl Seriously Injured After Pedestrian vs. Vehicle Collision Involving Hit-and-Run in Rancho CordovaA 13-year-old girl was seriously injured after a pedestrian vs. vehicle collision involving a hit-and-run in Rancho Cordova on Wednesday evening, March 27, 2024.

According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred past 9:30 p.m. between Zinfandel Drive and International Drive.

Reports indicate that the teenager was crossing the street when she was struck by two different vehicles. It is unclear if she was outside the crosswalk or not.

The victim suffered major injuries and was transported to a hospital. Her injuries were not considered life-threatening, and she is expected to survive.

One driver remained at the scene while the other fled and has yet to be located. The authorities are currently conducting an investigation into the collision.
