[03-27-2024] Riverside County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck by Sedan in San Jacinto

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a sedan in San Jacinto on Wednesday evening, March 27, 2024.

According to the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station, the fatal incident occurred around 7:58 p.m. between South San Jacinto Avenue and Shaver Street.

Reports indicate that a silver Honda sedan hit a pedestrian who entered the traffic lanes from the sidewalk.

The victim suffered severe injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

The identity of the deceased was not yet released, pending notification of the family. The Honda driver stayed at the scene to cooperate with investigators.

Drugs and alcohol were dismissed as factors in the fatal collision. Anyone with additional information is urged to call the authorities.
