[03-18-2024] Man in Wheelchair Seriously Injured After Being Struck By Hit-and-Run Vehicle in West HollywoodA man in a wheelchair was seriously injured after being struck by a hit-and-run vehicle in West Hollywood on Monday night, March 18, 2024. 

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the collision happened on La Brea and Santa Monica Boulevard. 

Reports stated that the victim was struck by a vehicle heading south on La Brea crossing over Santa Monica Boulevard. The suspected driver fled the scene, leaving the victim in pain on the ground next to his wheelchair. 

Police said the victim suffered severe injuries on his leg. Both the pedestrian and his wheelchair were put into an ambulance and transported to the hospital. 

Further information about the collision has yet to be released by the authorities.
